The Foundation--Part 1: Corner Stones

The Foundation--Part 1: Corner Stones

Last time we talked about setting up your High Value Training Plan.  With that in place, now it’s time to get to know your support structure.  What many people don’t see is what has been missing from their success: a strong foundation that keeps the walls from caving in. Strong foundation=strong you.  Strong you=limitless possibilities.

Your High Value Training Plan

Now that you have defined your passionately desired mission and you know what is meaningful to you and what you are excited about creating, it is time to prepare.  When your mission is really big, it can seem like trying to eat an elephant in one bite: impossible!  This could be the end of your mission right here, if you don’t pause and break it down into one-bite-at-a-time terms This means defining phases and your phases should be determined by most bang for the buck:

Eliminate Work/Life Balance!!

OMG, has she finally gone completely off her rocker?  I can hear the cries of outrage.

No, but really.  Wouldn’t it be great if you could quit worrying about work/life balance because you just simply led a balanced life?  Work being a part of it.  Part of what happens here is that we lose the distinction between work and life so that we feel personally 100% engaged and jazzed about everything we do.

Bored.  Bummed.  Burned out.  Unengaged. Stressed. Overwhelmed.  Flat.  Confused.  Harried.  Negative.  Impatient.  Unhappy.

Thank God I'm Rich!

Thank God I'm Rich!

Sounds funny to say that right?  It’s an expression I learned from my mentor, Christian Mickelsen, and one that we use frequently in my family.  Every time things cost more than we think.  Every time there’s an unexpected expense.  Every time we want to pull our mindset away from scarcity into abundance.  Cuz gosh darn it, we are rich!
