Asking good questions will give you a leg up as a leader. The better the questions you ask, the better the outcome of the answers…
The really important questions tend to be one-worders.
--WHAT?
--HOW?
However, as it turns out, there is a first question to ask, and it’s the foundation of everything thereafter:
WHY?
Now you can ask that question simply or you can utilize its many different layers; each of which gets to yet another layer of answers and all of these answers are must-haves to grow your company sustainably.
Creating a culture of ownership, accountability and having a cohesive team that understands the whole picture.
This question is so HUGE when it’s time to take your business to the next level that I did a quick FB Live on just that—and you can check it out here.
This is not about some elusive life purpose intention (although we encourage you to get really clear on that too, while you are at it), but rather a very tactical strategy to make sure all your peeps know exactly why they do what they do, how it impacts everybody else, the company, the customer, the client, your partners, investors, board members… in short, ANYBODY you want to influence.
What if suddenly you could hire much cheaper and talent is flowing in like never before?
What if your marketing starts growing much more organically and you can lower your ad budget?
What if you realize that you get asked A LOT fewer questions and still, your team delivers better outcomes, on time, as a cohesive force…
WHAT???
No, really, it’s WHY?….
…you might want to check out the video here.
Let me know what you think.
